Overview
Joe currently has a busy crime practice and regularly prosecutes and defends in the Crown and Magistrates courts. Joe also has particular experience in representing young people in the youth court, having represented individuals charged with drugs supply offences, violent crimes and crimes of a sexual nature.
Joe also has an active practice in professional disciplinary and regulatory work, often appearing for regulators and final and interim hearings, as well as successfully representing registrants before fitness to practice tribunals.

Criminal Defence
Joe has a busy crime practice and is regularly in the Crown and Magistrates Courts. Joe has dealt with offences that include weapons offences, sexual crimes and robbery and often appears in traffic matters.
In addition, Joe has a broad range of experience in dealing with both young defendant’s and witnesses in the Youth Court, often dealing with incredibly vulnerable clients.
Criminal Prosecutions - Private & Public
Joe often appears In both the Youth and the Magistrates’ courts prosecuting on behalf of the CPS and is developing a Crown Court prosecution practice. Joe has successful experience of dealing with victimless prosecutions as well as those which involve young witnesses and vulnerable defendants.
Joe also has a developing private prosecution practice having been instructed on behalf of various private prosecutors in matters such as trademark offences and animal welfare.
Extradition & International
Joe accepts instructions in extradition matters and has a keen interest in cases involving international jurisdiction and related matters.

Professional Discipline & Regulatory
Following a 4-month secondment to the Regulatory team at Blake Morgan LLP where Joe managed and prepared fitness to practise investigations, Joe is developing an active practice in professional disciplinary and regulatory work have successfully appeared in fitness to practice hearings at the HCPC.
Joe accepts instructions in professional discipline and regulation with a particular focus on fitness to practise.
