5 St Andrew’s Hill and 2 Hare Court are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s LCCSA European Conference, taking place in Lisbon from 25–27 September 2026. The conference brings together a record 137 delegates for a weekend of discussion, professional development and networking, with an agenda addressing some of the key issues currently facing criminal practitioners.
The Saturday programme will feature contributions from members of both chambers, covering sentencing policy, prison capacity and early release, fraud in the digital age, artificial intelligence, youth justice and the cross-over between criminal and other proceedings.

Jonathan Laidlaw KC, Gudrun Young KC, Quinn Hawkins, Grace Forbes and Gabriele Watts from 2 Hare Court, alongside Andrew Bird KC, Alex Rynn, Joe O’Leary and Sophia Kerridge from 5 St Andrew’s Hill, as well as Casey Jenkins of MK Law and former LCCSA President.
