We are delighted to announce that Rachel Warner and Rebecca Khan have joined 5 St Andrew’s Hill Chambers as new tenants.
Rachel and Rebecca completed their 12-month pupillages at 5 St Andrew's Hill and have now accepted tenancy.
Rachel accepts appropriate instructions in criminal cases.
Rachel prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases. Her experience includes violent offences, drugs, public order, dishonesty, weapons and sexual offences. She also has expertise in representing young people in the Youth Court, having represented individuals charged with robbery, drugs, weapons and violent offences.
Rachel joined Chambers in October 2026 following successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Dominic Connolly, Louisa Collins and James Fletcher.
Prior to starting pupillage, Rachel worked as an adjudicator for the Pensions Ombudsman.
Rachel has a busy defence practice and is regularly instructed in the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court.
Rebecca accepts appropriate instructions in Family & Children and International Family cases. She practices exclusively in all areas of family law.
Rebecca is dedicated to providing excellent client care and support to those navigating proceedings for protective injunctions, child arrangements and financial remedies. She has appeared at the High Court Family Division in relation to international family matters and forced marriage protection orders.
Prior to pupillage, Rebecca trained as a Family Court Legal Adviser with the Ministry of Justice. She advised Magistrates in court on legal practice and procedure and ensured the effective management of hearings, working closely with all court users including local authorities, CAFCASS and litigants in person. Rebecca has extensive courtroom experience in both private and public children proceedings, fact-finding hearings and non-molestation orders.
During her time at the University of Bristol, Rebecca volunteered with the Legal Advocacy and Support Project at the Bristol Law Centre, running disability and sickness benefits appeals to the First-tier Tribunal.
Many Congratulations to you both and welcome to 5SAH Chambers.
