Proceedings continue at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC) in The Hague in the trial of the former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and four co-accused.

Having opened on 27 February, the trial concerns allegations of contempt of court and obstructing the course of justice before the KSC. The indictment alleges unlawful efforts to influence witness testimony in the Thaçi et al. war crimes trial.

Omar Soliman is instructed as Legal Consultant on the defence team for the third accused, Isni Kilaj, the former Mayor of Malisheve, Kosovo. The defence team is led by Iain Edwards of 1MCB Chambers, together with co-counsel Joe Holmes of 9BR Chambers.
