Wendy Hewitt recently represented a medical student who had a fitness to practise matter involving allegations of dishonesty.  At an earlier fitness to practise hearing, the University had terminated his medical studies.

Wendy Hewitt appeared in a successful appeal against the University's decision, with the effect of allowing the student to resume his studies in September.

Wendy Hewitt was instructed by Marie Dancer, managing partner at Richard Nelson LLP.

Wendy has a wealth of expertise in professional disciplinary matters, and regularly represents healthcare professionals and professional disciplinary bodies in cases concerning professional misconduct, lack of competence, physical and mental ill-health, and criminal conviction cases.
