Bridget Todd secures a conviction against a violent rapist who had also threatened to kill her.
On the 28th June, Maidstone Crown Court imprisoned the defendant and even when released will spend at least 3 years on licence. He will also remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
In summing up, HHJ Griffiths-Jones said to the defendant ” In short, you treated her with utter contempt. You subjected her to a vicious and prolonged attack. The experience for her must have been horrendous and terrifying.”
