Gemma Lindfield MCIArb of 5 St Andrew’s Hill will be speaking at the Law Society of Kenya Family Law Seminar, taking place in Nairobi from 17–19 June 2026.

Gemma will be contributing two sessions to the programme: one examining the role of trusts in family law disputes, and another exploring the use of arbitration in children’s matters.

The seminar will bring together family law practitioners, members of the judiciary and other professionals from across Kenya and the wider region to discuss current developments and emerging issues in family justice. Gemma looks forward to joining fellow contributors from Kenya and beyond for what promises to be a stimulating and engaging programme.

Alongside the seminar, Gemma will be spending time in both Nairobi and Mombasa meeting with members of the legal profession and organisations involved in dispute resolution and family justice. Those interested in arranging a meeting, exploring opportunities for collaboration or making professional introductions are welcome to get in touch.

The seminar forms part of Gemma’s wider engagement with the East African legal community and follows her recent work with practitioners, arbitral institutions and legal organisations across the region.
