
We are delighted to announce that George Smart, Georgina Lane, Hannah Steventon & Minahil Tariq have all successfully completed their twelve month pupillage with us.
Minahil accepts appropriate instructions in Family & Children and International Family cases. She practices exclusively in all areas of family law.
Minahil is a specialist family barrister practising exclusively in all areas of family law. Prior to starting pupillage, Minahil was a family law caseworker at Wilson Solicitors where she assisted with a broad range of family proceedings. From financial remedy cases to care proceedings she gained experience of cases across the full breadth of family law. Minahil previously worked in Pakistan for nearly 2 years as an associate at Khan & Partners in Lahore and most recently completed an LLM in Social Justice from University College London.
George, Georgina and Hannah prosecute and defend in a wide range of criminal cases. They regularly appear in the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts.
In addition to this, George and Hannah accept instructions in the areas of extradition and & proceeds of crime work.

George prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases. George has experience of cases involving serious violence, public order, dishonesty, weapons, drugs, sexual offences, and road traffic incidents. He also accepts instructions in proceeds of crime and related areas and extradition proceedings. Before his pupillage, George worked with vulnerable detainees as an Appropriate Adult in various police stations across North London.
Georgina prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases. Her experience includes violent offences, drugs, public order, dishonesty, weapons and sexual offences. She also has expertise in representing young people in the Youth Court, having represented individuals charged with robbery, aggravated burglary and crimes of a sexual nature. Prior to starting pupillage, Georgina worked as a paralegal in the extradition department at a criminal defence firm in London.
Hannah prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases. Her experience includes violent offences, drugs, public order, dishonesty and weapons offences. Hannah also has experience in Proceeds of Crime Act Proceedings and Civil Order applications, such as Sexual Risk Orders. Before commencing pupillage, Hannah worked as a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Prior to this, Hannah was a criminal defence paralegal at a law firm in London. Hannah completed the Bar Practice Course and Master’s at The University of Law where she undertook work as a trainee legal advisor in the Legal Advice Centre.
