The case focused on her client being accused of stealing £15,000 from a hotel room with no CCTV or forensic evidence. Despite the judge allowing the bad character of a previous acquittal for a similar offence, the jury were unable to reach a decision. The Crown reviewed the case and decided to offer no evidence.
