Many Congratulations to Sian Priory, who has accepted an offer of tenancy to join 5SAH Chambers.

Sian practices in all areas of criminal and extradition law, and accepts instructions in the areas of Public Law, Inquests and Inquiries as well as Regulatory and Professional Discipline.

She has a wealth of experience in criminal defence and prosecution work and continues to build upon this experience in the Crown, Magistrates, and Youth courts on a daily basis.  In relation to her defence work, Sian has experience assisting on cases of serious sexual assault and strives to apply her appreciation of vulnerable defendants and witnesses alike to her own practice. She has gained considerable experience representing young people charged with serious offences, most recently in a multi-handed firearms matter.

Sian has increasing experience in representing Requested Persons in extradition proceedings. In addition, Sian has assisted Ben Keith on a number of complex extradition, immigration, and public law matters. Most recently, Sian has assisted in a high-profile torture case before the African Court of Human and Peoples’ Rights and advised on a high-profile prisoner transfer case between the US and UK.
