Danielle Barden and Rebecca Hill to speak at the European Criminal Law Association online seminar.

The European Criminal Law Association (ECLA) will host an online seminar, in collaboration with the University of Durham, on Tuesday 16 December 2025, 5.00pm – 6.30pm (GMT), on the topic:

“What’s New in Extradition and Proceeds of Crime in 2025”

The seminar will review recent case law developments in extradition and proceeds of crime, and will examine proposals in Clause 195 of the Crime and Policing Bill, which would amend sections 20 and 85 of the Extradition Act 2003.

Rebecca Hill has nearly two-decades’ experience before all levels of Court and is regularly instructed to appear against King’s Counsel. She has particular expertise in cross-border financial crime, requests with a political dimension (including abuse or manipulation by the State), and transnational criminality such as trafficking of people.
