Edward Connel prosecutes James Condliffe at Maidstone Crown Court who was recently jailed for four years.

Mr Condliffe claimed to be an international showjumper and pretended he owned a country estate. He made vulnerable people who were horse lovers invest in bogus or sick horses and managed to con his victims out of £280,000.

The case was heard by Judge Charles Macdonald QC who said Mr Condliffe was a 'predatory and remarkably cruel' man.

The case was reported in the local and National press.  The full Daily Mail article can be viewed above.
