Kevin Dent and David McNeill last week successfully concluded the prosecution of R v Morrison and others which resulted in the 5 defendants being convicted of money laundering, namely £94,000 from an elderly victim of a vishing-type fraud. This money had been dissipated and converted through 10 Barclays bank accounts as part of a highly organised looting of the victim's account.
