On 6th September 2012 James Fletcher and John McGuinness QC successfully proved that boiler room fraudster Tomas Wilmot and his wife had breached a Court Order that prohibited them from dealing with their property: They had sold an apartment in Spain and a motor boat moored in Gran Canaria. It’s unknown what happened to the €160,000 proceeds of sale. Tomas Wilmot was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment on top of the 9 year sentence he is currently serving for fraud. His wife’s sentence of 12 months was suspended on account of personal mitigation.
