Ben Keith will speak at an expert seminar at UN House Brussels on 9 November 2026, presenting the key findings of his new book, INTERPOL: Law and Practice (Sweet & Maxwell, 2026).

The seminar will focus on tackling transnational repression (TNR) in Europe, bringing together representatives from INTERPOL, EU Member States, EU institutions, UN agencies, civil society and academia.

Convened by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, International Human Rights Advisors and the Permanent Representation of Germany to the European Union, the event will explore the misuse of INTERPOL Red Notices and Diffusions to target exiles and dissidents, alongside the steps national authorities can take when faced with potentially politically motivated notices.
