John Cammegh KC and Eleanor Scott-Davies were instructed by CPS South East to appear for the Crown in a murder trial arising from the fatal stabbing of a man at a drugs house in Chatham.

Following a six-week trial at Maidstone Crown Court, one defendant was convicted of murder. A second defendant was convicted of assisting an offender by driving the principal offender away from the scene, whilst a third defendant was acquitted.

The case concerned the fatal stabbing of a man at a property in Chatham in November 2025.
