Barnaby Hone appeared for HMRC in a three day account forfeiture hearing. The hearing resulted in the forfeiture of the account in question which had over £1 million in the account.
The case revolved around whether a company was legitimately using the highlight skilled migrant program. After a two year investigation, including evidence from a number of jurisdictions, and cross examining the respondent the Judge accepted Barnaby's submissions that the company was a sham.
