Don Ramble successfully prosecuted Kitrys for attempted murder leading to a 25-year extended sentence.

The case included expert evidence on the ability of Kitrys to form the intent to kill after he was found to be five times over the drink-drive limit. The defendant had entered the victim’s bedroom in the early hours of the morning and repeatedly stabbed her with a kitchen knife as she lay in her bed. Despite attempts by the defendant to remove any forensic evidence before armed police arrested him, blood splatter remained on his face and this ultimately assisted in convicting him.
