Tony Prosser prosecuted the case in which a man was charged for a £4 million drug importation.
The man was stopped at Heathrow airport where searches of his 2 suitcases revealed they contained a huge quantity of drugs – 31 kg of cocaine, 5 kg of heroin and 2 kg of methamphetamine.
The sentence is believed to be the largest handed down in this type of case.
