Overview

Lucas is a first six pupil. He accepts appropriate instructions in all of Chambers’ areas of practice, including criminal and extradition law.    

Lucas began his pupillage in October 2026 supervised by Sarah Fairbairn.  

Prior to commencing pupillage, Lucas was a reading assistant to a blind barrister in London. While he was studying the GDL, he volunteered for the City Legal Advice Clinic, providing Pro Bono advice and support to local residents.  

During his Bar Course studies, Lucas worked with the Vocalise prison debating scheme as a student mentor. He co-ran a programme in HMP Belmarsh teaching a group of prisoners debating techniques and public speaking skills.
