Bridget has a busy prosecution practice and is regularly instructed by the CPS including the RASSO unit. Her practice covers serious and complex cases ranging from conspiracy to murder, armed robbery, drugs, violent offences, fraud, human trafficking to serious sexual offences including rape and historic abuse.

Bridget receives instructions in the most serious criminal cases.

Bridget is often instructed in complex historic and current sexual offences.  Her preparation of these cases involves a careful review of significant amounts of medical/mental health and social services records.  She provides clear and concise advice.  She also has experience in dealing with trials involving young and vulnerable witnesses, intermediaries and other professionals.

Bridget is also instructed in serious complex case work and she frequently  prosecutes importation offences ranging from drugs, tobacco, firearms to human trafficking.

R v H [2023]

Successful prosecution of multiple counts of sexual activity with a child aged 14.

R v T [2022]

Successful prosecuted an 85 year old defendant for historic rape on 3 complainants. Defendant had an intermediary.

R v C [2022]

Defendant [19] convicted of sexual activity with a child. Vulnerable victim. Case involved large amounts of social media and phone material.

R v J [2022]

Successfully prosecuted defendant who had stabbed the victim multiple times in a revenge attack.

R v A [2022]

Defendant charged with child neglect of his 4 children. All 4 children gave evidence, youngest was 6. Convicted on all counts. Intermediary used with 2 of the youngest children.
