Alexandra Wilson, one of our first six pupils, has recently been nominated and approved to be on the Criminal Bar Association (CBA) Social Mobility Committee. The Social Mobility Committee provides advice to the CBA on all matters concerning retention which directly or indirectly affect the Criminal Bar and its members.

The CBA aims to improve access to the Criminal Bar as a profession for individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds and to challenge financial and structural barriers to a career at the Criminal Bar. They also aim to promote equality and diversity at the Criminal Bar.

Alexandra will be working alongside a diverse range of criminal practitioners including Tunde Okewale MBE, founder and chair of Urban Lawyers charity, and Sally Penni, founder and chair of Women in the Law UK.
