Alexandra has authored her first book, 'In Black and White', which is 'a memoir of a young barrister’s experience of race and class in a broken criminal justice system still dominated by the elite.' 

In her interview, Alexandra discusses her journey to the Bar, the underrepresentation of black members at the Bar and the need for black and female role models at all levels of seniority. She discusses her experiences at the Bar as a black female in the robing room and the courtroom as a criminal and family law barrister.

Alexandra specialises in both criminal and family law. In her criminal law practice she represents a variety of clients charged with serious matters and specialises in young and vulnerable clients. Her family law practice includes private children, public children, domestic abuse and finance cases.
