Many congratulations to Alexandra Wilson, who has been nominated for the Diversity & Inclusion Future Leader accolade by Chambers UK Bar Awards 2021

Alexandra is a barrister specialising in Family and Criminal Law. Please click here to find out more about the work Alexandra undertakes. She has also been nominated as a finalist in the Rising Star Category for the 2021 UK Diversity Legal Awards 2021.

Alexandra helps to facilitate access to justice by providing legal representation for disenfranchised minorities and others on a pro-bono basis. A member of the Criminal Bar Association Social Mobility Committee, Alexandra is passionate about equality and diversity within the legal profession and is a vocal campaigner for better treatment of ethnic minorities within the law and beyond. 

She is the founder of Black Women In Law, an organisation with over 500 members and she also co-founded One Case At A Time, an organisation set up to assist disenfranchised minorities in the legal process.  Her first book, ‘In Black and White: A Young Barrister’s Story of Race and Class in a Broken Justice System’ was published in August 2020.
