Introduction

Our move to 5 St Andrew's Hill marks a new beginning for a long-established set. Chambers was first established in 1949 by Anthony Cripps QC and was located in 1 Harcourt Buildings, Temple. Anthony Cripps QC continued as head of Chambers for over 35 years, handing over the reins to Seddon Cripps in the 1980s. In nearly 6 decades there have only been 5 Heads of Chambers and 3 Senior Clerks.

We take with us this continuity and tradition to the new premises at 5 St Andrew's Hill. Refurbished to a high standard, and specifically designed to cater for the requirements of a modern barristers' chambers, the Victorian warehouse building features the latest in technological facilities including video conferencing. Traditional values now combine with a modern approach and we look forward to continuing to offer first rate legal services.

Chambers always seeks to provide an individual service for all its clients and remains committed to ensuring a close relationship between the barrister and our professional and lay clients. This involves a strong working relationship between clerks and barristers to ensure that high quality legal advice and representation is also matched with highly efficient communication and administration.
