Fees Structure

Barristers at 5 St Andrew's Hill accept work on both legal aid and private fees. Legal aid fees are usually pre-determined by the legal services commission. Private fees will depend on the type of work and expertise of the barrister chosen. Private fees can be on a hourly rate or fixed fee basis. Please contact the clerks who will be able to assist.

On the 27th January 2012 Mark Cotter of 5 St Andrew's Hill acted for the prosecution in a modern day reenactment of the sentence hearing of infamous 1960's play writer Joe Orton.

On 16th January 2012, District Judge Barron, sitting at the Hammersmith Magistrates' Court, stayed two summonses prosecuted by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham as an abuse of the process of the court.
